James 1:27
Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

Holiness Part 1
Let us start by defining what Holiness is. Strong's defines it as sacred
(phys.pure, mor. blameless or religious, cer. consecrated). I like this
definition it covers all regions that pertain to God and our daily living.
Holiness is also a command. Lev11:44b You shall there for be holy, for
I am holy. 1 Peter 1:15-16 but He who has called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written," Be holy, for I am holy."
So we have been commanded to be holy. That is to live a holy life here and now before God and man. How is it possible to live in a corrupt world
and live a holy life? Only God can take a sinful man out of the world make
him holy put him back in and keep him holy. So what then must a man do?
What is his responsibility in holiness? In part 2 I will attempt to answer these questions.
